Infant Care

Our infant program for children 6 weeks through 12 months emphasizes individualized care by loving and nurturing caregivers who are responsive to the developmental needs of each child. Your child’s first experience with childcare can be stressful, but our nurturing environment will help ease your child’s anxiety. Consistency in an infant’s daily schedule promotes a feeling of security, which leads to establishing bonds with their caregivers and building confidence to promote learning and development.

Empowering children with a disability

Empowering children with disabilities involves providing them with the tools, opportunities, and support needed to achieve their full potential. We work towards an inclusive society in which all children and young people can participate, regardless of their disability. Child 1st believes participation is not a privilege – it is a right.

For children with disabilities to participate in society, more than only direct child support is required. That is why we invest in knowledge and awareness about children with a disability in local communities; to establish an enabling environment and an inclusive society in which they can fully participate. That way, not only children and young people with disabilities, but many more people benefit from our programmes and projects.

Preschool Program

Young children learn by doing! This age marks the transition from toddler to preschooler. By age three, children have mastered most physical skills and begun to develop socially with peers in cooperative, more focused pay. They begin to sit for longer periods of time, listen to stories, sing songs and repeat simple rhymes.

We provide a structured environment with an intentional daily schedule and routine filled with activities planned around the following domains of learning: Language, Literacy, and CommunicationPreschoolers consistently ask the “why” and “how” of the world around them and become imaginative, creative thinkers. By fostering this natural curiosity and integrating educational success with established classroom structure, children will develop self-esteem and confidence that are essential to learning.

After-School Care

Child 1st provides a safe, fun place for school going children to gain more independence. Our program offers our families the peace of mind that their children are kept safe, inspired to learn and constructively engaged between the end of the school day and when parents return from work.

As children get older and more independent, they need new challenges. That’s why we offer a school-age program for before and after school care and enrichment programs that address the changing and more varied needs of growing school-age children. Reading, math, and science activities ensure that your child’s mind is engaged and help create a lifelong love of learning and exploration.
